I’ve never been a fan of brands that use big words to sound important. To me, it just feels like they’re covering something up. That’s not how I want to be.

I’m just one person, born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. No team, no investors, no big budget—just me working full-time, taking classes after work, and doing my best to find time to build something real.

It’s not easy. Between work, classes, and everything else, finding time for the brand is tough. But I keep pushing because this is what I love to do. Designing clothes, bringing my ideas to life, and sharing them with people who connect to the message behind them—that’s what drives me.

At sovern, where all about doing what you love most and ro do it to the fullest.. We know what it feels like to be left out, insecure, or like you’re not enough. That’s why this brand is all about embracing your authority and being your true self. I want to inspire you to break through the barriers that hold you back, no matter who or what tries to stop you from taking that next step.

Starting this brand was just me, my dream, and a lot of hard work. No plan, just a purpose. And that purpose was to show people that you can be bold, confident, and take control of your life, no matter where you’re starting from through my ideas….

It’s not just about clothes; it’s about creating something bigger—a message, a movement, a community of people who believe in their own power. Watching my designs come to life and seeing others wear them with pride, knowing they’re a part of something bigger, is the most fulfilling feeling.

I’m NOT there yet, but I’m working every day to get closer to my dreams, no matter how hard it gets. And if I can do it, you can too.
